Our Experience Our Principal, David Wright, began his career designing the foyer spaces of the refurbished Alhambra Theatre in Bradford. Since then he has designed the interiors of nearly thirty new and refurbished auditoriums, and the front of house spaces for around twenty arts venues. He later diversified into museum and gallery interiors, including exhibition design, working mainly in the Middle and Far East. More recently he has begun working with private clients on the interiors of their houses for which he was also the architect.
Interior design for your home
Museum interior and exhibition design has been a core element of Arts Architecture’s work since its inception.
At the National Museum, Oman we worked in collaboration with designer Jasper Jacob to create the entire interior of this landmark building. In addition to the permanent exhibition galleries, we designed all the ancillary spaces including a VIP Suite, Lecture and Seminar Rooms, Classrooms and all the Administration Offices, and scheduled all the loose furniture and equipment.
Other museum interiors we have designed include the nine permanent galleries and complete specialist conservation suite at the Islamic Galleries (BPIS) in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei and the Suhur Ecotourism Centre in Oman.

David’s interior design experience extends to creation of many unique carpets for auditoriums and foyer spaces. He can offer this service to private domestic clients as well and is thoroughly versed in the technical specifications for bespoke Axminster, Wilton and other styles of carpet and rug.
Bespoke Light Fittings
Interior design is as much about the lighting as the materials. David has always seen the creation of bespoke light fittings as part of the overall design process and his lighting designs can be seen installed in theatres and concert halls in Sheffield, Manchester, London, Dunstable and Dubai.
