Planning and Building Regulations Regularisation
Building work often becomes more extensive than originally envisaged as the work progresses on site. Also, alterations are sometimes carried out without permission and planning officers and building control inspectors will serve notice for applications to be made retrospectively. These are known as ‘regularisations’.
We have prepared and submitted a number of applications of this nature and can advise clients as to any alterations to the work that they may have to make in order to comply with planning, building regulations and advertising consent requirements.
Projects we have undertaken include:
-
Balmoral Guest House, Gillingham, Medway - conversion of a hotel into bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
-
224-228 Nelson Road, Gillingham, Medway - conversion of a nursing home into eight individual apartments.
-
The Falcon Café. Gillingham, Medway - retrospective planning and building regulations applications.
-
Aladdins, Gillingham, Medway - change of Use and Advertising Consent applications, Building Regulations regularisation.
